Reports To: Clinical Director / Rehabilitation Manager
Hours: 20-28 hours per week, flexible schedule. Clinic open Sunday to Friday.

Position Summary
The Neurologic Physical Therapist (Neuro PT) evaluates and treats individuals with neurological conditions affecting movement, balance, coordination, and functional mobility. The therapist develops and implements individualized treatment plans using evidence-based neurorehabilitation techniques to improve independence, safety, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for patients with neurological conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, balance, strength, coordination, gait, and functional independence.
Implement evidence-based neurorehabilitation interventions such as:
Task-specific training
Neuromuscular reeducation
Balance and gait training
Motor learning and neuroplasticity-based interventions
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to maximize functional outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention, and strategies to improve safety and independence.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including occupational therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and case managers.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
Assist with discharge planning and coordination of care.
Stay current with advancements in neurological rehabilitation and participate in continuing education.
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state PT license.
